Phil Szymanowski's career as a maker started when he joined the technical school at his high school in New Jersey. During weekends, he would work on cars at his step-fathers auto-body shop, and would help his mother to fix-up his aging childhood home. When he got married and moved to Pennsylvania, Phil began working as a glass-cutter & installer; working there for 15 years, while turning his first home--from a 70's style rancher--into the cabin of his dreams.
Since 2005, Phil has continued working on his dream house, and began working as an independent contractor in the Bucks County Area, under his company name, PhilBilt Custom LLC. He has built barns, kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces; you name it, he has done it! Phil has been privileged to work with amazing clients who have great visions and who trust him to bring their ideas to life.
As of recently, Phil, in collaboration with his daughter, has been creating unique rustic-industrial furniture. The Resurrection Furniture Collection is exactly as it sounds; resurrecting old pieces, and breathing new life into them.
Phil is an experienced craftsman, and continues to create unique build solutions for friends & clients in Bucks County, PA.
